Shalimare Inc. has multiple group homes designed for adults with disabilities. In this family like setting, you will provide personal assistance in their daily living activities that encourage the individual's personal success. Enjoy meals together, go with them on fun outings, help them with their chores and personal hygiene needs, document progress and ensure their well-being.

We offer full time and part time shifts around the clock with several openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Quality assistants who can work with kindness in conjunction with their Home Managers will provide the following core service:

  • Protect and ensure the rights of persons with disabilities

  • Administer basic health care and medical treatments

  • Document client progress

  • Confidentially maintain client information or service records

  • Monitor client behavior

  • Assist with plan development for programs and services

  • Provide comfort and encouragement to individuals and/or families

  • Prepare foods or meals

  • Perform housekeeping duties

  • Teach health and hygiene practices

Salary $11.00 /hour - Evaluation after a 90 days

Training During First 30-90 Days (annually thereafter if applicable): CPR, First Aid, Abuse & Neglect (Zero Tolerance), HIPAA, Client Rights, Therapy Health Records, Behavior Analysis Training, Professional Crisis Management (Reactive Strategy), Certified Medication Administration & Validation as well as Core Competencies.

Continuity of care for our loved individuals mean minimal qualifications must be met. If meet all of the following minimum qualifications apply today.

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in direct client care

  • Valid Florida driver’s license

  • Minimum age 21 years

  • Level II Fingerprint Background

  • Lee County Local Background

  • Able to lift 50+ pounds

A completed application includes:

  • ADP Personal Reference Form (3)

  • Completed Local Sheriff’s Office Background Check (See Below)

  • A copy of High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
